A $25 donation per PHS family is suggested. This helps pay for:
- PHS Freshman Welcome Night (September) - incoming PHS freshmen talk with a panel of upper classmen about what high school is like
- Conversations With College Freshman Forum (January) - college freshmen return to the school to talk to PHS seniors about what college is like
- Student Recognition Book Awards (April) - Students are recognized by the faculty and staff, who then select books in their areas of expertise. These books contain bookplates in which the students’ names appear. The books are donated to the school library to remain in permanent circulation. The PHSO has donated over 1000 books to the PHS library over the last 19 years.
- Teacher Appreciation Breakfast (June) – Parents provide breakfast for PHS teachers.
- Student Activities Book – a list of the student co-curricular clubs and adhoc clubs, everything from Mock Trial and Student Council to the Circle of Friends and the Robotics Club
- Funds given for the Senior Post-Prom party
- Senior Project Support – Provide videographers and refreshments on Project Presentation Day
